The Advokatens Light Shawl is inspired by my bestselling Advokatens Shawl, but is knitted using a completely different yarn. Worked with just a single strand of Lang Yarns Cashmere Light, it creates a shawl that is incredibly soft, airy and beautifully drapey, while knitting up quickly on large needles.

Cashmere Light is a unique yarn whose airy construction gives the finished shawl an almost weightless feel despite its generous size. The result is an elegant accessory that provides gentle warmth and drapes beautifully around the neck.

The shawl is knitted from tip to tip and can be worked either in a single colour or in stripes. The striped version creates a beautiful effect, with one side appearing lighter and the other darker when wrapped around the neck. Of course, you’re free to create your own colour combinations to make the design uniquely yours.
