Mias 366 Chunky Sweater (ENG)

Mias 366 Chunky Sweater is a soft, relaxed oversized sweater worked with a circular yoke, designed as part of my 366 series. The name Chunky refers to the slightly heavier gauge, which gives the sweater a beautiful drape and a cozy, comforting feel.

The sweater is worked seamlessly in the round from the bottom up. After the ribbing, short rows are worked to create a gentle curved hem and a slightly longer back. This step is optional and can be omitted depending on the desired fit.

The sweater is designed with the wrong side facing out up to the armholes, creating a subtle textured surface. This is also optional and can easily be adjusted to preference.

The colorwork section can be worked in two colors, but the design is equally beautiful in a single color. When worked solid, the pattern section can instead be knitted in a textured stitch for a more subtle look.

Mia’s 366 Chunky Sweater is knitted in my own Mias Suri yarn, a soft, lightweight fiber that does not pill and feels incredibly gentle against the skin. This makes the sweater perfect to wear directly on the body – like a soft “island sweater” for everyday comfort.
