Inspired by the harmonious colours of my Folklore Sweater, the Direktörens Scarf is a luxurious mohair scarf designed to become a timeless wardrobe favourite.
Knitted in double strands of Lang Yarns Mohair Luxe, the scarf features carefully balanced stripes created by blending colours throughout the project. The result is a beautifully soft, light and airy scarf with remarkable depth and richness.
One of my greatest passions is combining colours. Each kit in my shop has been thoughtfully composed to create a harmonious and elegant colour palette. If you would like something more personal, I’d be delighted to help you create your own unique colour combination.
Whether you prefer soft neutrals, earthy tones or bolder contrasts, the design works beautifully in countless colour combinations.
The scarf is also available as a yarn kit, where I have selected all the colours for you.

Direktörens Scarf Knitting Pattern
Finished Size: Approx. 195 × 29 cm (unstretched)
Yarn: Lang Yarns Mohair Luxe. 77% Kid Mohair, 23% Silk. 25 g = approx. 175 metres
The entire scarf is knitted holding two strands together.
Yarn Requirements:
You will need:
- 2 dark background colours (Anthracite or Black)
- 2 light background colours (Light Beige or Light Grey)
- 3 accent colours
For example:
- Two shades of blue and one rust colour
- Two shades of green and one burgundy
- Two shades of purple and one green
An optional metallic thread can be added for a subtle shimmer.
Needles: 6 mm
Gauge: 16–17 sts × 23 rows = 10 × 10 cm
