The perfect weekend project.

I designed Mia’s Mohair Wrist Warmers for a party in Northern Norway late one autumn. I was planning to wear a sleeveless dress but knew the evening would probably be cold. I wanted something that would keep me warm while also becoming part of the outfit – and the result was these long, soft wrist warmers. Mohair Luxe is simply perfect for this design.

They are knitted in Langyarns Mohair Luxe, an exclusive blend of super kid mohair and silk that creates a light, airy fabric with a beautifully even halo and a soft natural lustre.

The wrist warmers are long enough to pull up over your elbows when you need extra warmth, yet soft and flexible enough to be pushed down around your wrists for a shorter, more relaxed look.

Knit them in classic black or another neutral shade for everyday wear, or choose a bold colour to add a beautiful accent to your outfit. If you’d like an extra touch of sparkle, you can knit them in Mohair Luxe Lamé, which has a subtle shimmer, or embellish them with a fine sequin yarn. They are equally beautiful worked in pure cashmere.

A small project that quickly becomes a favourite – both because of the warmth it provides and because it adds something special to the clothes you already love to wear.
