The Linello Dress is knitted holding one strand of Lang Yarns Linello together with one strand of Lang Yarns Baby Cotton. The blend of linen, cotton and viscose creates a light, breathable fabric with beautiful drape, making it perfect for warm summer days as well as relaxed summer evenings.

This is a dress you’ll reach for again and again. Wear it with sandals for an effortless everyday look, or dress it up with jewellery and heels for a summer dinner or garden party.

One of the things I love most about the Linello Dress is the freedom to play with colour. Both Linello and Baby Cotton are available in solid and self-striping shades, allowing you to create anything from a timeless black dress to a classic navy-and-white maritime style or your own colourful summer favourite.

The dress is worked in the round from the bottom up. The lower section is knitted on larger needles, creating a lighter fabric with elegant movement while using less yarn. The needle size is gradually reduced towards the upper body, resulting in a denser fabric and a flattering fit.

The pattern includes three base sizes, but is designed to be easily customised to your own measurements. You choose the circumference at the hem by casting on the stitch count that suits you best, and you can knit the dress with or without side splits.
