The original design is worked with one strand of Lang Yarns Mohair Luxe held together with one strand of Lang Yarns Mille Colori Baby.

Mohair Luxe provides the scarf’s soft halo, beautiful sheen and overall colour impression, while Mille Colori Baby gradually changes through a range of shades, creating a rich and lively colour effect throughout the fabric.

Start by choosing the shade of Mohair Luxe you want as your base colour, then pair it with a complementary colourway of Mille Colori Baby. There are countless beautiful combinations, and I’m always happy to help if you’d like advice choosing colours.

Of course, the pattern also works beautifully with many other yarn combinations. Since this is a scarf, achieving an exact tension isn’t as critical as it would be for a fitted garment. Simply choose a yarn and needle size that create a fabric you love.

For an even softer and fluffier look, you can knit the entire scarf using two different shades of Mohair Luxe. You can also combine several Mille Colori Baby colourways to create a truly one-of-a-kind scarf.
